An executive team has been named for the new healthcare system created by the merger of Edward Hospital and Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare.
Mary Lou Mastro will become president of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare, effective July 1st.
Replacing her as president of Linden Oaks at Edward will be gina sharp.
The acting president and CEO of Elmhurst Memorial, Jim Doyle, has been moved into the position of chief transition officer, and will lead the integration between the 2 hospital systems.
And heading up the entire healthcare organization will be Pam Davis, acting as CEO. She will also continue in her role as president of Edward Hospital.
The merger will be finalized on July 1st, creating a 3-hospital system including Edward Hospital, linden Oaks at Edward and Elmhurst memorial. Annual revenue for the new organization is expected to top $1 billion.
