Jay Kellner, the founder of the Neuqua Valley choral program is retiring after 34 years of teaching.
Recently Kellner directed his last concert which was one to remember.
Roughly 150 alumni from Neuqua Valley and the other schools he taught at surprised Kellner by returning back for one more song.
Besides the surprise return, the choral department also introduced the Jay Kellner Music Scholarship program-an award given to a graduating senior that will go on to pursue a degree in music.
