Naperville’s Ice Rinks Still Delayed

The weather continues to be too warm for outdoor ice skating.

With more days in December being above freezing than below, the opening of Naperville’s outdoor ice rinks, which is normally slated for December 15, has been delayed.

And it could be another two weeks or more before the rinks open. If it stays cold enough, the Naperville Park District is targeting the week of January 14 to open them.

You can check the status of the park district’s winter sports facilities on their website.
