Knoch Knolls Nature Center was flooded with eggs, for the Park District’s annual Flashlight Egg Hunt.
Kids from nine to 13 tried to get their hands on some of the hundreds of eggs hidden throughout the park, each containing a hidden surprise.
“There were little slips of paper in them, we would give them to the people handing out prizes and depending on what the slips said, they would give that prize to you. And then if there was candy in it, then you just keep it!” said Drake C., a Fifth Grade participant in the Egg Hunt.
These sweet treats are sure to make for a hoppy Easter.
