This summer in Naperville kids can say goodbye to the school bus and hello to the trolley.
On Friday mornings families can head to downtown Naperville and hop on a trolley for a quick tour of the town.
This is the first year Naperville Trolley & Tours is offering the child friendly rides in addition to their usual historic tours.
“During my one hour historic tour of Naperville I talk the entire time and sometimes children don’t want to be quiet and adults don’t want to hear the children, you know chit chatting so this was created to fill a need for our friends in the Naperville and visitor friends,” said Annette Wehrli, also known as “the Trolley Chick” for Naperville Trolley & Tours.
The tours pass by Naper Settlement, Centennial Beach, the VFW and the train station, making for a great ride full of history and fun: continuing in the tradition of the trolley that’s been around for over 20 years
“My father started the company in 1995 and I purchased it from him two years ago and we have a fleet of 4 trolleys and everything is more fun on the Naperville trolley,” said Wehrli.
Tickets cost 7 dollars and can be purchased online at Napervilletrolley.com
