Over 40,000 lights line the street of Manchester Court in the Brookdale neighborhood in Naperville. That’s where Matt Baker and his dad set up a display with the help of neighbors and friends.
“It started back in 2012, it was a little tiny display and over the years it grew and grew and grew to what it is now, and it’s a big tradition that all the neighbors pitch in to,” said Baker.
Lights shine to Christmas songs as well as some non-holiday tunes like “Go Cubs Go.”
The full show display begins November 25 and will run through New Year’s Day. You can tune your radio in to 88.5 FM to hear the music.
“A lot of people enjoy it this year, a lot of people say it’s making Brookdale a better place so it’s pretty neat. A lot of people are saying it’s their tradition for their christmas lights display so it’s pretty neat to hear that,” added Baker.
Matt also invites those who drive by to donate to the Naperville Area Humane Society.
To find the display use the address 1117 Manchester Court in Naperville.
