The Naperville Park District recently held an open house for residents to comment and give feedback on the capital improvements proposed throughout parks for 2017.
Projects include several playground renovations, the development of the Central Maintenance Facility and restoration work.
“With so many playgrounds we have to stay on top of the maintenance and operations of them, and so we have six slated based on their current life cycle and conditions of those lifecycles. Also looking at ADA accessibility, we need to make renovations to those programs next year,” said Eric Shutes, Director of Planning with the Naperville Park District.
Project information can also be found on the park district’s website.
