Local Massage Envy Included in Complaints:

The Massage Envy on Showplace Drive is one of many across the country to be included in complaints of sexual misconduct against the company. A Plainfield woman settled a 20-count lawsuit against that Massage Envy in April, after saying she was groped during a massage there. The lawsuit sought at least $1 million in damages and court costs, though the settlement amount was not disclosed. According to a report by Buzzfeed News, more than 180 people have reported similar incidents at other Massage Envy locations.

BIG IDEA in Town:

WTTW brought their BIG IDEA Traveling Lab to Naperville today. Kids at Nichols Library were able to take part in the innovative program that encourages problem solving and learning. This is the first year of the tour, which promotes that kids wonder, watch, and learn more to come up with their own big ideas.

Benet Boys Basketball:

Last night, Benet Academy Boys Basketball played its first home game of the season, fresh off a Fenwick tournament championship. The Ridgewood Rebels were the opponent as the Redwings looked to stay undefeated on the young season. Benet got a balanced attack, showing off the team’s depth as the Redwings build a 19-point lead by halftime. B.A. played well on both sides of the floor, continuing to build the lead, 11 points from Colin Crothers was tops on the team. In the end, Benet moved to 5 and 0 on the year after a 64-50 win.
