ALICE at District 203

During the 2018-2019 school year, Naperville District 203 schools will transition to a new safety response plan known as ALICE: Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate. The safety plan empowers individuals to make critical decisions during crisis, as an alternative approach to the more passive lockdown method. In partnership with law enforcement officials, the district is completing scenario-based training to compliment mandatory online training. Staff training at all 203 schools will be completed by the end of January and more information for parents and guardians can be found in the safety section of the district website.
