Man Accused of Indecent Exposure Downtown
A man was arrested on Friday after allegedly exposing himself to an adult female in Downtown Naperville the day prior. Anthony Larcher-Gore, a Yorkville resident, was charged with indecent exposure and subsequently released on bond. The Naperville Police Department also noted that “a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.”
The Naperville Park District and Riverwalk Foundation performed their annual AMP Walk yesterday. Officials assessed parks, monuments, and artwork up and down the Riverwalk for repairs, including Moser Tower. They also went over ideas for the proposed Harmony Park and another stairway linking the upper and lower pathways of the Riverwalk.
Another Naperville Native in the NFL
Yesterday, we congratulated Waubonsie Valley alum Troy Fumagalli on being drafted in the 5th round of the NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos over the weekend. It was also an exciting weekend for 2013 Neuqua Valley graduate J.P. Quinn. The offensive lineman from Central Michigan signed as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts and will get a chance to prove his worth at the team’s upcoming rookie camp.
Neuqua Valley Dominates the Diamonds
It was a perfect afternoon for some conference play on the mound at Naperville North, who hosted Neuqua Valley. The Wildcats came in undefeated on the season and thanks to Noah Ernst and Jack Rigoni, they would stay that way. Solid hitting in the first inning put the cats up 4-0 and they didn’t slow down, ending the game 14-3.
Neuqua Valley girls softball also participated in a little afternoon fun yesterday, hosting Metea Valley. Metea entered the game with a record of 6-9 and looked to right the ship against their rival.
Libby Eichberger got things going early with a triple to bring in two runs but that is where the Mustangs juice would run out. The Wildcats, however, raked in 11 runs. Zoe Herdman rocked a grand slam in the fifth for the finishing touch in the 11-2 victory.
