NNHS vs DGS
Stormy weather washed out all of yesterday’s baseball and softball games, but Naperville North travelled to Downers Grove South over the weekend to take on last year’s state third place winners. Sarah Smith kickstarted the Huskie offense in the first inning with a two run homer to score Maddie Vasser. But Randi McKay took the momentum back for the Mustangs with a grand slam in the 2nd, putting DGS up 7 to 2. While the Huskies offense tallied some more runs, they could not overcome the powerful Mustangs. Downers Grove South took the victory 16 to 6.
