The Naperville Fire Department was out in full force today, preparing for hazardous waste emergencies, like a train spill of toxic material.
Police and fire from the surrounding areas teamed with Naperville and the Canadian National Railroad for a regional live training exercise.
Several scenarios played out, allowing rescue teams to drill and practice many different types of rescues.
The session lasted around three hours and took place at the Players Indoor Sports Club parking lot.
This type of event is critical for agencies to come together and train for emergency situations.
