Dream With da Vinci, a traveling exhibit exploring the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci, has made its first stop right here in Naperville.
“Here at the DuPage Children’s Museum, our mission is to ignite the learning potential of every child through art, math and science. And that’s what makes this exhibit so perfect for this museum. Leonardo, he truly was an artist, a mathematician and a scientist, so it brings our mission to life in one beautiful exhibit, and you can explore all of those aspects in hands on interactives,” said Senior Public Programs Manager for the DuPage Children’s Museum, Katie Cadena.
Children can sculpt masterpieces, pose for a painting and practice putting science in motion.
“Probably the highlight of the exhibit is testing out Leonardo’s glider, one of his drawings for an early flying machine. You can actually lay on it, feel what it would feel like to fly. It’s a really phenomenal experience,” added Cadena.
Originally from the Curious Kids Museum in St. Joseph, Michigan, Dream With da Vinci will be here until April 2, 2017.
This exhibit, along with all of the museums exhibits, are included in the price of admission.
