The Naperville Police Department held an informal meet and greet at the 95th Street Library, where people could mingle with Naperville Police Chief Bob Marshall and several members of his senior staff.
“This is something I’ve had as one of my personal goals ever since I became Police Chief in 2012, and for myself and my staff it seemed to be good timing right now with all the questions about police practices and procedures. And I’ve had a lot of requests from community groups to come speak, and I thought this would be a great time to roll out this program,” said Chief Marshall.
Citizens of all ages stopped by to ask questions, give feedback and thank officers for what they do in our community.
This was the first ‘Chat With The Chief,’ but the department plans to hold them quarterly at different times and locations throughout town.
The next chat will take place in early winter.
