There’s a new update in the Daniel Olaska case. The DuPage County State’s Attorney’s office filed a motion for destructive testing this week. This would allow articles of evidence containing small samples of DNA to be tested, but destroyed, during examination.
The 27-year-old Naperville resident is charged with seven counts of first-degree murder and seven other crimes following the February 4th murder of Shaun Wild, a District 204 teacher, at Frankie’s Blue Room.
Olaska and his attorney were not present.
His next court date is scheduled for May 23rd.
