Diners came out to a local restaurant to raise money for the Oklahoma tornado victims.
Meson Sabika hosted the event where patrons could enjoy a night out while helping those in need. 100% of the proceeds from the evening are being donated to the American Red Cross to help those devastated and displaced by the recent tornados.
“Any time we feel that people are in need, we do our best to lend a hand,” Hossein Jamali, owner of Meson Sabika said.
Attendees enjoyed the “taste of Spain” that the restaurant is famous for, as well as a sampling of sangria.
“ I have a special place in my heart for people from Oklahoma because I lived there myself for 5 years, before we moved here about twenty years ago, said Alma Jones an attendee of the event, “you can’t find better more deserving people, I kind of feel like Oklahoma is my hometown, so I definitely wanted to come and be supportive.”
Meson Sabika is no stranger to hosting Red Cross events, they have previously held a dinner to benefit tsunami and earthquake victims in Japan.
