Medals for Naperville Not for Profit

A local not-for-profit is honoring the smallest heroes fighting cancer.

From now until October 31, Bike Bald is collecting medals to donate to children fighting cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

“What we do is we will forward those out in October and November with a hero’s package with their medal, recognizing that they are true heroes,” said founder of Bike Bald, Debbie Mossburg.

Any type of medal can be donated. You can drop yours off at the Naperville Running Company’s north or south location, or the Bike Bald Pick and Pack Center at 3380 Lacrosse Lane, right behind Neuqua Valley’s Gold Campus.

The group often gathers at the Pick and Pack location, putting together care packages for kids fighting cancer, and is always accepting donations and volunteers.

Bike Bald will also be collecting medals at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
