Kids added up the beauty found in nature.
The DuPage Children’s Museum started their creativity classes for ages 18 months to 3 years old.
The math series class used butterfly wings to teach students color theory, biology and math.
“We’re not expecting Picasso’s,” said Sue Kessler, Play Coordinator at the DuPage Children’s Museum, “But it is nice to start and to inspire them and to put art materials in their hands at an early age.”
Toddlers also sharpened their hand-eye coordination by making collages of butterflies.
The program is designed to foster children’s learning about the world and themselves.
