The Home Stretch // Legendary Coach Continues to Teach Local Prospects

More than 30 years as a head coach, over 1,400 wins, including a National Championship. This is just a snapshot of the resume for Margie Wright, one of the winning-est head coaches in college softball history. After retiring from Fresno State in 2012, Margie moved to the Aurora area to become the director of player development for the Wheatland Spikes softball program. Thanks to efforts of Coach Wright and the Spikes, the girls in the area now have an incredible mentor and ambassador in their corner.
