Little Friends Consolidation

A local not for profit is consolidating in an effort to save money and provide service all in one place.

Following the recent budget impasse, Little Friends Inc. Decided to move their center for autism back into its original home, at the Little Friends main campus on Wright Street.

“We are moving back to the main campus at Little Friends. We are bringing our Center for Autism back here in order to have more space and be able to provide more resources,” said Executive Vice President, Patti Boheme.

Currently staff is moving into the third floor of the building, which was recently renovated to accommodate their needs.

The space now features a library, sensory gym, and smaller therapy rooms, perfect for those with autism.

“So we went from three offices, to like 15 so just to see that growth has been really exciting,” said Boheme.

Little friends will be hosting a block party for the upcoming National Night Out on August 2nd.
