Library Adds Video Games

The library will be adding video games to their long list of things to borrow.

More than 300 titles will be available for Wii, Xbox, Playstation 3 and 4 and Nintendo DS at the Nichols Library, Naper Library and the 95th Street location.

“We’ve had so many of our customers come in and tell us they want gaming here at the library, we know this through the surveys we’ve conducted and through comments we receive. So we are very excited to answer this request and start a gaming collection,” said Library Manager, Olya Tymciurack.

Consoles will not be available to check out, but the library is considering adding more video game programing.

The library dedicated $100,000 to buy the collection, which will be available in late February.
