Six weeks into winter, Naperville residents saw the greatest snowfall in over a year. About 2 ½ inches of snow covered the city, just enough to finally enjoy sledding down Rotary Hill.
The Chicago metropolitan area, including Naperville, had a 335 day, snow-free streak that ended with an inch of snow on January 25th. But the last time it snowed this amount or more was on January 20th, 2012.
