The Naperville Park District and the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association welcomed guests to their new space that will house a new Lekotek program in the 95th Street Center.
“The program is geared for ages 0-8 years old that experience multiple areas to their development, special needs or medical conditions that might prevent them from playing in a typical fashion or maybe just using play to meet developmental milestones,” said Dayell Houzenga, Outreach Manager for Western DuPage Special Recreation Association.
One-hour sessions will be available once a month for families who can also loan toys for 30 days at a time.
This program is the first of its kind in Illinois, outside of Cook County.
