Leap Into Naperville Restaurant Week

Whether you’re in the mood for seafood, pasta or pizza, the third annual Naperville Restaurant Week has something for you.

“We have about 32 restaurants that are participating and some participate with lunch, some participate with dinner, some participate with lunch and dinner,” said Christine Jeffries, President of the Naperville Development Partnership.

Many higher end restaurants are offering a prix fixe menu, which often includes some of their best dishes at a discounted price.

Others are featuring special deals, sure to whet your appetite.

“It brings a lot of people to Downtown Naperville, you get to experience restaurants at a lower price that normally you wouldn’t experience that, it’s better for all business in Downtown Naperville, all the traffic down here,” said Carl Jensen, Director of Operations for Catch 35.

“We found it a great opportunity to reach out to part of Naperville that maybe hasn’t visited our location before. We’re really excited to get some people in here and wow them with our food,” said Bret Harter, Sous Chef at Biaggi’s Naperville.

With participating restaurants spread throughout all of Naperville, there is bound to be a deal near you.

“It presents a great opportunity to try a restaurant you’ve never tried before, or maybe try the specialty menu at a restaurant you’ve been to but haven’t tried their specialties, and do it at a discount, it’s a great opportunity,” said Jeffries.

And North Central College is also getting in on the action.

Jeffries explains, “new this year is North Central College’s performing arts district is participating in restaurant week with a 10 percent discount on show tickets for the two weeks, so you can do dinner and a show and we’re a big advocate of dinner and a show.”

You can take a bite out of all Naperville Restaurant Week has to offer through February 29. To view all participating restaurants and their deals, visit dinenaperville.com.
