Summer is coming to an end in Naperville, but it’s not over until the Last Fling!
The 4 day event, hosted by the Naperville Jaycees, kicked off tonight to raise money for local not for profits and featured entertainment that won’t let you down.
“This is a years worth of planning coming together all in one weekend, we have great entertainment lined up from tonight, ARRA as our main-stage big act, tomorrow O.A.R., Sunday we have Vertical Horizon and Smash Mouth and Sunday is our free ticket, 7th heaven,” said Danielle Tufano, PR Chairperson for the Last Fling 2014.
The night started off with local band Maggie Speaks.
If you need more than music to get the night going, visit the carnival located along Jackson Street for fun and food!
The Last Fling features activities, games, and music for people of all ages, and it keeps them coming back year after year.
“I’ve been coming to the Fling since I was a little kid, it’s a big fun carnival, it’s her first time here and she likes to go on all the rides,” said Mark Wirtschoreck.
“I love the Last Fling, I get to come here with my friends every year and it’s a lot of fun to win games and just hang out with your friends,” said Matthlew Fessler.
Despite a few rain-drops, the first night of the Last Fling rocked out to the band ARRA.
The fling will be open from 10 am to 11 pm on Saturday and Sunday and will close at 6 pm on Monday.
