On the third day of the Last Fling, visitors had a jam-packed day, from carnival rides and rock climbing to a whole area full of family fun at Naper Settlement.
“We’ve been taking her ever since she was a baby for what 16 years, she 16 years old so she’s been having a great time here from all the pony rides to the petting zoo now she’s a little too old for that but all the fun great things Naperville has to offer we just love it here,” said Ted Dimas, visitor of the Last Fling.
Participants got to stuff their faces for the apple pie and ice cream eating contest, going face first into their plates.
“I’m going to do this contest right over here and it’s ice cream and I love ice cream and it’s going to be really fun,” said Sarah Godwin, visitor of the Last Fling.
And for the visitors that weren’t so much the food lovers, they hung out in the bounce houses, transformed their looks in the face painting area and got an educational tour with the U.S. Army.
Over at the entertainment stage, dozens of kids were lined up for some free entertainment and to see Austin and Ally’s Disney star Calum Worthy.
“We went backstage and we said hi to him and we got to see him so we didn’t have to wait in the long line.”
Tonight fling goers will find a spot on Rotary Hill to check out live performances by the Righteous Hillbillies and Broseph E. Lee.
