New York Times best selling author Jenny McCarthy recently stopped by North Central College’s Wentz Concert Hall to promote her newest book – Bad Habits: Confession of a Recovering Catholic.
The memoir takes a look back at McCarthy’s life from her strict catholic upbringing in Chicago’s Southside to her days as a Playboy Playmate, as well as her life now as a mother and autism activist.
She hopes that the audience finds the book entertaining but also that they face life and faith with an open mind.
“We are taught a certain way, we believe a certain way, and if you just, for one millisecond step out side the box, just to peek you might see something magical. So I am hoping that even for one second someone can crack that window with the book.” said Jenny McCarthy.
This is McCarthy’s seventh book on the New York Times Bestseller list.
