James Rollins Visits Naperville

James Rollins visited Anderson’s Bookshop in Downtown Naperville to discuss “The Bone Labyrinth” his newest novel in the Sigma Force series.

The book has kidnapped sisters, a secret government plot and even a mystery involving Neil Armstrong, but don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous novels in the series.

“I think 90% of my readers have not read my books in order, I structure them so that each book is sort of self contained. That way you can jump in at any point and pretty much appreciate the story in its full context,” said Rollins.

Rollins’ first book was published in 1998, but he was not always a full-time author.

Rollins explained, “Slowly I transitioned from where veterinary medicine was my paycheck and writing was my hobby and I sort of flipped that around, now writing is my paycheck and veterinary medicine is my hobby.”

This will be Rollins’ 32nd published book, and another is on the way in April.

The Bone Labyrinth” is now on sale in print and e-book.
