Universal Spirit is now offering hula hoop yoga for teens and adults.
The class incorporates a hula hoop into the practice, using it as a mechanism to improve yoga poses and strength.
“It’s great for strength building, it helps with balance, the hoop is used for a tool in balance but also as a way of catching your body in alignment,” said Morgan Abrams, a Hula Hoop Yoga Instructor.
And anyone can do it, from young beginners to those experienced in yoga.
“It’s fun you don’t have to be athletic, you can be brand new to it, which is awesome if you’re a beginning because then you can learn it the right way right from the start,” said Abrams.
Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday for an hour.
