Those struggling to break free of heroin’s hold now have a support group here in Naperville.
Tim, a former addict who is now clean, wanted to help others suffering the hardships of heroin use.
He joined forces with Pastor Bob Butler of Wheatland Salem United Methodist Church here in Naperville, to create a heroin support group.
“We’re hoping just to get the entire community of the people who have been impacted by heroin,” said Butler. “The parents, siblings and addicts – anyone who has been effected.”
Tim says that California has heroin support groups like this and he wants this to be open to addicts, their families and friends.
For more information on the group, including future meetings, contact Tim at firstname.lastname@example.org.
