A hearing has been set for a Naperville woman who refused to allow a smart meter to be installed on her home.
Jennifer Stahl recently appeared in front of DuPage County Judge Mary O’Connor, who decided the hearing will take place on August 21st.
Stahl and Kim Bendis, both members of Naperville Smart Meter Awareness, a group that has gone all the way to the federal level to try and stop the installation of the city’s new smart meters, were arrested back in January when city officials came to install their meters.
Both Stahl’s attorney and the City of Naperville will have a chance to pitch their case as to whether she broke the law by interfering.
Bendis’ next court date is July 30th.
