For those having trouble sticking to their New Year’s resolutions, a citywide initiative may be the remedy.
Dozens of local residents came out to the 95th Street Library to better their physical and financial lifestyles at the Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise kick-off event.
The 12-month community wide program is designed to educate Naperville residents on how to live a better lifestyle.
Local health and financial organizations came out to pass out information. Each person received a free tracking journal to record his or her progress.
Financial Advisor, Alice wood delivered the keynote address called “The Power of a Day – The Power of a Choice.”
“It comes to the art of tracking and why that makes a difference and why the little things add up over time, and why if we want to change our behavior, we need to track,” said Wood.
Every month this year, the library will host programs to help residents stick to their goals. This February they will cover topics including paying for college, and couponing. For more details visit naperville-lib.org.
