The Downtown Naperville Alliance’s Executive Director, Katie Wood, recently surprised 12 shoppers with free downtown gift cards in honor of the date 12/12/12.
“We are randomly selecting shoppers and diners that are downtown right now with $12 Downtown Naperville gift cards,” said Wood. “It’s just the symbolism! 12-12-12, 12:00, $12 gift cards.”
Winners could redeem their prize at one of the more than 150 shops and restaurants that accept Downtown Naperville gift cards.
12/12/12 is special because it is the last date of reoccurring digits until January 1, 3001.
