The annual Gardener’s Art Festival returned to the Growing Place in Naperville this past weekend.
Visitors strolled through nearly four acres of land to learn about gardening while also supporting local businesses.
“A lot of the artists are returning artists, they come every year,” said Becca Massat, marketing manager at the Growing Place. “It’s fun to see what new stuff they create, it’s fun to say hi to them.”
This 15-year-old event continues to expand every year.
The Growing Place hopes to attract newcomers in the future by offering more food trucks and live entertainment.
“If you like to support local people, local artists, local businesses, it’s fun to come out,” said Massat. “Everybody’s within 75 miles of here and it’s a good fun day, and you get to see a lot of things you might not have seen at other art fairs.”
