College of DuPage is ringing in their 50-year anniversary with a new leader at the helm.
After a year of controversy surrounding the College of DuPage, administrators are now looking toward the future under the leadership of Dr. Ann Rondeau.
Rondeau was recently sworn in as the college’s sixth president where promising faculty, staff and students that she intends to instill trust back into the university.
“When accountability is present, we can all depend upon each other with clarity and certainty. It is upon that bed rock principal of accountability that we can then build trust,” she said.
She officially started in her new role as of July 1st, and has an extensive military and education background, which made her stand out in the nation-wide search for a new president.
Rondeau previously was president of the National Defense University, a group of 5 colleges and 9 research centers in Washington.
