The Naperville Public Library once again received a top rating. For the fifth time in five years they’ve been named a 5 Star Library by the Library Journal Index of Public Library Service, which compares U.S. libraries on the services they deliver.
Naperville is one of 85 libraries that received the honor, out of more than 7,500 surveyed.
“It would be great if we could say it’s what we do, but I honestly think it’s the community,” said John Spears, Executive Director. “This is a community that loves its library. Any type of measurement like this really looks at how we’re used. While I think we have great offerings here, the reality is it’s because of how much the community uses us.”
The library also recently placed 18th on the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplace list in the midsize category.
