A North Central College alumnus recently tried to find love on a popular television show. Winfield resident Mike Tenerelli’s friend signed him up for ABC’s The Bachelorette, and he was one of 25 men who tried to win the heart of Desiree Hartsock on Season 9.
The plumbing contractor and owner of Lombard’s Crossfit Alpha Dog, who went by Mikey T. on the show, might not have received the final rose, but he did walk away with experiences that will last a lifetime.
“The things we did, I mean, I did a rap video with Soulja Boy, who can say that? The things we did, the dates we went on, living in the mansion, and traveling the world, it was awesome. It was incredible,” he said.
Tenerelli was eliminated in episode five this season.
Although things didn’t work out with Des, he says after the show is done airing he will stay in touch with a few of the guys.
As for his love life? He’s still single and looking for now.
