The DuPage Children’s Museum got it popping in celebration of the New Year.
At the “Build It Big, Bubble Bash,” visitors enjoyed fun activities around every corner, like popping their way down a red carpet of bubble wrap and blowing giant bubbles.
Headlining the event was popular Chicago area children’s performer, Mr. Singer and the Sharp Cookies.
The bash concluded with Mayor Pradel leading a countdown to noon.
Meanwhile folks gathered at Rotary Hill to celebrate the New Year a few hours early in a family-friendly fashion.
There, the Naperville Park District sponsored a free countdown at 6pm, also lead by the mayor.
The community also enjoyed another countdown at Rotary Hill at midnight.
