Falling Gas Prices

For the first time since 2003 gas is below $2.00 a gallon.

The low prices are due to the high supply and low demand for the product.

“Gas prices in Naperville right now are averaging $1.64, which is $.50 lower than this time a year ago, and $.50 from this time last month,” said AAA Spokesperson for Chicago, Beth Moser.

Prices are expected to stay low until the spring when the new mix comes out.
