Over 400 people packed into Empire, in Downtown Naperville to ‘Party For A Cause’ – specifically for Family Shelter Service, which provides services to those suffering from domestic violence in DuPage County.
“I think this is a real great example of the community coming together and really supporting our clients. Our clients are a lot of times isolated and they don’t realize that people really care about them, and their safety and that they live without fear, and to me this is just one beautiful example of how the community comes together and shows support for our clients,” said Family Shelter Service Executive Director, Judie Caribeaux.
A cause close to the hearts of Phil and Marta Cullen, who own Empire and Ballydoyle.
“I have been very involved with the shelter for many years, it’s very important to me to have this event and raise money for Family Shelter Service,” said Marta Cullen.
Attendees got to sample Empire’s menu, have a whiskey tasting and enjoy a beautiful view, all in support of family shelter service.
