District 204 has approved their 2015 tax levy.
At the latest board meeting, Jay Strang, Chief School Business Official, presented the nearly $284 Million levy to the group. The monies will go toward costs to run the district as well as bond and interest expenses.
The average homeowner can expect to pay about .8% more in taxes, that’s about $6.95 for someone with a $300,000 home – quite a bargain compared to the $86 increase projected for them last year.
