Downtown visitors can soon cook up a few recipes by local storeowners.
“Downtown Dishes and Delights” is a new cookbook with recipes from downtown business owners.
“A lot of the downtown associates have contributed, as well as the owners,” said Katie Wood, Executive Director of the Downtown Naperville Alliance. “AdreAnne Tesene from Two Bostons has contributed her favorite cake recipe. Becky Anderson is going to be contributing one. Chris Hartner from the Naperville Running Company, even our city councilmen and the mayor.”
The book will be available beginning November first in multiple stores downtown.
All proceeds will go to Little Friends and the Little Friends Parade of Lights, held on December first.
Little Friends is a local not-for-profit that serves children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
