Local residents are taking reading to a whole new level by going paperless. Many folks got an Ereader for a gift this past holiday season and the Naperville Public Library is helping them learn how to use it by offering free classes at all three of their locations.
The library has 6,000 Ebooks available from current titles to best sellers with 200 new ones added monthly.
To download an Ebook get a Naperville Public Library card, go to their website, find the book you want, enter your library card number and download.
“We want all of our Ebooks checked out just the way we want all of our print books checked out,” said the Adult Services Librarian, Karen Toonen. “The library doesn’t really care if it’s a physical book or an electronic book. If we have it we want it in somebodies hands either so they can enjoy it entertainment wise or learn from it.”
You can check out up to 15 books at a time for one to three weeks. Returns are also done online.
