The District 204 school board was presented with a high musical honor.
Neuqua Valley High School recognized the board for their work in music education throughout the district.
Charles Staley, a band teacher at Neuqua, presented the board with the Grammy NVHS won this year as one of the nation’s Grammy Signature Schools.
“While this award is specific to music – it is possible because we operate in a system wide culture of learning that engenders in all students the highest expectation of learning in every subject,” Staley said.
The Grammy will be displayed at the Crause Education Center.
