Voters had the chance to hear from the candidates vying for a seat on the District 204 School Board.
The Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation held the forum for candidates to address issues important to education.
Topics ranged from common core standards to Illinois’ pension problem.
Voters think the forums are helpful.
“These people are getting paid with my tax dollar, so I want to make sure I don’t have to worry my child’s education everyday,” says Usha Singh.
“I moved to this community for the schools.,” says Anuraag Phargava. “I have a four- year-old daughter so I want to start getting involved now to make sure she has the best education.”
The next forum will be for City Council candidates on March 13th.
Naperville’s election is April 9th.
