At their last meeting of 2016, the school board approved the appointment of Sue Salness, who is currently the principal at Ranchview Elementary, to now be the principal of Mill Street.
And Hugh Boger, who serves as a vice principal in the district, will now be taking the helm of Scott School. Both will begin their new roles on July 1, 2017.
Later in the meeting, the board approved the 2016 tax levy, which included the debt service, totaling nearly $236 million.
However, the board is tentatively planning to abate the debt service portion in March, bringing the total down to under $233 million, which would save the average existing tax payer $40.
The board also approved bids for resurfacing the tracks at Naperville North and Naperville Central. Both of which were already planned in the 2017-2018 budget.
