Today Daniel Olaska’s attorney has asked for a continuance in his court case.
The 28 year-old is charged with fatally stabbing north central college alumn and elementary school teacher Shawn Wilde, plus two others at Frankie’s Blue Room on February 4th.
At the DuPage County courthouse, Olaska’s attorney Brian Telander requested October 2nd as the next court case date. This will give him time to review the footage from four surveillance cameras at the bar. Telander says the evidence could determine if Olaska was threatened or provoked in anyway.
The attorney has also told the judge he had no objections to doing DNA testing on Olaska’s knife and cell phone so authorities will move forward with investigating those items.
