A group of local women broke out in song and dance in the middle of downtown Naperville to draw attention to a cause.
Staff and volunteers from the War Chest Boutique, as well as residents, performed a choreographed routine to the song “Break the Chain” in front of Anderson’s Bookshop.
The boutique is part of “Women at Risk (WAR) International,” a group that rescues women from sexual slavery. Members say the dance was a fun way to express themselves while drawing attention to their mission.
90% of the sales from the WAR Chest Boutique go towards efforts to prevent human trafficking.
