College of DuPage’s Naperville center is undergoing a major renovation causing it to close for the summer and fall.
The more than 20,000 square-foot facility will have updated mechanicals to improve energy efficiency, a new exterior that mirrors the look of the main campus in Glen Ellyn, a repaired parking lot, and updated classrooms, lounges and conference room.
Summer classes taken at the center will be relocated to cod’s main campus while fall classes will be offered at the Fry Properties office building on 95th Street.
Overall the project is expected to cost $6 million.
