City Seeks Christmas Tree Donations

The city of Naperville needs your help to make sure you feel the spirit of the Christmas holiday all around town.

They are currently looking for two Blue Spruce trees to be donated, that will be placed outside the Municipal Center and in the downtown area for the holiday season.

“We’re hoping to find trees that are at least 30 feet tall, in a residents front yard, so it’s easily accessible for us to get to from the street. We’ll come, cut it down, transport it and put it up as our holiday tree,” said Christine Schwartzhoff, Operations Team Leader at the Department of Public Works.

The trees should also be full in body, straight and symmetrical and one-stemmed. Donations are needed by mid-November.

If you want to make a donation, call the Department of Public Works at: 630-420-6095.
